Because dance is a discipline and requires ease of movement, proper dance attire is required for our classes. This allows the teacher to see the dancer’s proper placement and enables them to train the student safely. Students are not permitted to wear jewelry of any kind to class and no bare midriff clothing is allowed. Hair should always be pulled back securely out of the eyes with no loose pieces. Buns are a requirement in all ballet classes. Students should go to and from the studio wearing a cover-up over their dance attire. Dancers need to bring their dance shoes with them to class and change into them once they arrive.
Pink or tan tights, dance shorts or pants, any leotard. Skirts, tutus, dance shorts are permitted. No t-shirts or street clothes. Hair in a bun. Appropriate shoes.
